About Us

JCS International
What is JCS?
JCS is a group of international community focused agencies teaming up as one INGO to assist Mongolia and all its people. It focuses on holistic needs—physical, spiritual, and intellectual. The staff, sourced from over 15 nations and 12 mission agencies, utilizes professional skills in areas such as agriculture, health, education, administration, business, English teaching, youth work, and relief projects, with a collective aim of enhancing the well-being of the Mongolian community.
JCS in Khovd Aimag
JCS has been active in Khovd Aimag (province) for 15 years, handling projects such as leading a well-digging project, assisting in developing greenhouses in the local community, and starting small business enterprises in leatherwork, and knife making. They currently run a Child Development Center in a ger (yurt) district where the majority of the Kazakhs live. Kazakhs make up 5% of Khovd's overall population. The Child Development Center offers a free catch-up club for Kazakh children attending Mongolian schools, ensuring those not fluent in Mongolian get extra support. Plus, they serve up a complimentary lunch during each morning session.
Our Team
The JCS team is a diverse and dedicated group of individuals, each bringing a unique background and perspective to our collective efforts. Jesse, arriving from the UK, and his wife Ági, originally from Hungary, made the inspiring decision to relocate to Mongolia in 2022. Their international experiences contribute to the rich tapestry of our team.
Alimaan has been an integral part of the JCS family for many years, providing invaluable continuity and expertise. Our shared mission revolves around the well-being of the children we serve, and the teaching staff consistently goes above and beyond to support those in greatest need. It's heartening to witness the collaborative spirit within our team as we work together for the betterment of the community's youth.

Long Term Vision
JCS, with its head office in Ulaanbaatar, is actively involved in numerous projects across Mongolia. They help address various aspects of society. While their primary focus is on training and development, they recognize the importance of providing assistance and relief in certain areas. They extend support to organizations dedicated to disabled children, vulnerable families, at-risk children, aiming to show love and care to these often overlooked individuals.
Both long-term and short-term JCS volunteers play a vital role in different sectors of Mongolian society. JCS manages personnel and projects involved in relief and development work. Additionally, various Mongolian organizations and institutions frequently seek professional advisors, trainers, and workers in education, healthcare, tourism, sports, community and social development, among other areas. JCS actively seeks to facilitate Mongolia's ongoing development by connecting with such volunteers.
Partner organizations and institutions provide volunteers' visas under their registration. JCS encourages more volunteers to come to Mongolia, offering their services to local organizations and professions. These volunteers not only contribute their services freely but also financially support JCS administration and the projects and organizations they serve.
